Phil Jones, the worlds leading global warming researcher ADMITTED in 2010 that there has been NO STATISTICALLY SIGNIFICANT CLIMATE WARMING SINCE 1995. Source: "Climategate U-turn as scientist at centre of row admits: There has been no global warming since 1995", Daily Mail (UK), Feb. 14, 2010. I would post a link to the article but Star Tribune will not publish it. This article commits the LOGICAL FALLACY that global warming exists when, in fact, it has not been proven to exist and can never be proven as there is nowhere near enough data to conclude our position on natural climatic cycles which can last 10,000 years or longer.

But, but ,but ..Al Gore is a big fake, and CO2 is our friend, and all the ecologists are frauds.....

Humans have abused our planet all in the name of the almighty dollar. We deserve Earth's revenge.

flossy2012--Phil Jones is not "the worlds leading global warming researcher". But keep on denying.

Blah, blah, blah. I'll stick my head in the ground and believe only what I want to believe. Damn the facts. So what if Greenland melts away, and the Arctic Ocean? I've got mine, screw you other people. P.S. Vote Republicon.

When are you people going to admit that something is happening? We have 98% of the people who study this stuff agree that mankind is changing the climate. If you have any sense you can see it in the charts and graphs. Start to get past the politics and understand the science.

Too funny. There are still climate change deniers walking around. Perhaps with tin-foil hats. The world has moved on lads. The discussion now is about how to deal with the very real effects that happening in our day to day environment. Attribute whatever cause you wish, but we still have to deal with the outcome.

Whether this warming is man-made or not, there's nothing we can do to thwart it. No amout carbon cap and tax (ever heard of Chinese coal?) or EU taxing of Jet Liners will will change anything. We think we have control over so many things when in reality we are a mere speck of time and impact on the Earth, the Sun, the Universe. Humans either adapt or die.

Frankly I'm surprised there hasn't been someone on yet saying something to the effect of "OMG they're spending $3 million in taxpayer money for THIS!?! Government waste . . . blah blah blah . . . eviscerating the taxpyers . . . blah blah blah. . . ."

psychrixMar. 23, 1212:00 AM

By the time you could measure man made warming or cooling, a space rock will wipe out all our ideas of humans making a difference. It is almost kind of cocky and delusional to our planetary history to think one or two generations of humans could impact the planet beyond what nature will destroy... or laughable... but I guess college professors have to have a war for their mindnumbed students to fight... so there you go.
