Yes..Yes..there is a hs basketball God..a legit team like Osseo beats the "all legal" by HS rules boys!! ..so sad..Hopkins best player had to sit in his street clothes because he broke HS rules. NOT!!

YES! I live in Hopkins, and even I was rooting for Osseo. Hopkins is the NY Yankees of MN basketball. Recruiting is cheating, and giving thugs chance after chance after chance after chance after they repeatedly break school and MSHSL rules builds poor character. Having said that, though, Hopkins does have a few nice kids on that team this year. A few.

Hopkins best player was not in street clothes....THEY were playing and leading their team. Best means different things to different people and for me, BEST is being a LEADER in GOOD and BAD times, being of GOOD CHARACTER and representing your school ON AND OFF the court in the constant face of adversity (from community, media and teammates). WAY TO GO SIYANI AND NICK - SO PROUD OF YOU BOTH
