Every player who got a bonus for playoff or Super Bowl performance or wins during those seasons should be made to return the bonus money. At the least, the players implicated in the incidents should return Super Bowl bonuses. AND, that year needs an asterisk.

Similar penalties to the T-Wolves-Joe Smith infraction! I don't know how Stern could justify such a penalty for almost nothing compared to the Saints bounty.

--"[throwing across the body is] the first thing they teach you not to do," Fox analyst Troy Aikman said. [about Favre's throw]... Yes, of course that IS what Aikmen's coaches told him not to do - because he lacked the skills to do it.... And when has Aikmen EVER said anything good about Favre? EVER? Why does any reputable reporter even quote him about Favre? The reporter one of the ten fans on the planet not knowing this?... Next, Favre threw across his body many times, and made most of them - many were called spectacular plays. That kind of pass "fails when it doesn't work" - Favre's trusted receivers ran TO the ball when he did it- unlike the MN receiver in the NO game who planted when he had position - if he had done what GB receivers do and went to the ball to catch it, he catches it or gets interference call... Oh, fwiw - Ever seen a highlight reel of Aikman? zzzzzz....

Their 2010 Superbowl should've been either vacated or asterisked because of the illegal bounty system.

This is a travesty of justice. USC was forced to vacate its national championship, serve a two-year bowl ban, and lose 30 scholarships for cheating. Saints should have vacated the Super Bowl Championship, two-year playoff ban, and lose 30 draft choices to be fair. What they did was much worse.

Farve needs to come out of retirement and play for the Vikes. He and his team were cheated and would have easily won the SB. Brett please come back. You had no receivers at the time and no line plus the bounty. Things are different now and will continue to be (be after the draft). you still got it . We love you man. The greatest plus is Chilli is gone. Go into the hall in purple after playing one more year with us.

Everyone knows why we lost -- GOD was on the Saints side. I always love that one.

Not to go off the last guy stating that the Vikings need draft picks, but who does get the pick that is lost? If no team gets it then some unfortunate prospect has to go undrafted.

I don't think the Commish came down hard enough on them. It is not just because of Favre and the Vikings, How about Warner, Rodgers, and everyone else they were paid a bonus to try to hurt? Second round draft picks, why not first round or entire drafts? The title they "won" should be vacated, and no, not given to the Vikings, vacated period. Many teams were victims, so just vacate it with an asterick, and what about the blind referees??? They need to be punished also, they allowed this "garbage" to go on, a flag, or two, or three, may have stopped it. Why is nothing said about them? New Orleans won a Super Bowl in the worst possible manner, in my opinion, this punishment is a joke. Take away the trophy, their rings, and their money. That will hurt worse than second round draft picks, but, that's just my opinion.
