Middle Class Minnesotans....WAKE UP. The GOP is the party of big business and the wealthy. This is an attempt to shift tax dollars to the rest of us. The wealthy were not hurt in this economy, and the middle class needs the tax relief. But the GOP wants to stick it to us, while cashing in favors for their big contributors.

How stupid do the republicans think Minnesotans are anyway? Evidently, pretty stupid. Don't ever think for one second these republicans care for anything or anybody other than their 1% buddys. All these republican do anymore is propose give away, after give away, after give away, to the rich and always at the expense of the elderly, sick, poor, and middle class. I honestly believe they have some kind of brain disorder. Corporations on average after all their loopholes pay a measly 3% already. Minnesotans better wake up to what these nuts are doing soon.

Vote them out... According to the GOP, corporations and businesses are the "people" they represent. The rest of us are just an inconvenience to deal with and collect from.

They are pushing/grabbing for as much as they can for those that have because they know they will be voted OUT. They are not working for anything connected to JOBS. Just eliminate taxes for certain groups and cut benefits for the middle class to pay for it.

Leave a portion of the business tax in place specifically to cover the cost of stadiums which they say are critical to their businesses' well-being. Since they claim they are unable to hire anyone unless we have a complete roster of sports teams, each with their own new facility it's reasonable to have them bear those costs rather than the public.

Absolutely ridiculous. How are these people still in office?

You liberals can say whatever you want, but the fact of the matter is liberal policies are not working and your Nobel winner is going down in flames. Be patient. Shortly after Obama is defeated in November, things will get better for you deep thinker......but you might actually do some work and lose a few freebies.

It's already been said, but it is time tovote out the cold blooded GOP. Reducing business taxes sounds like a desirable goal to job growth, but the reality is the tax burden is simply being shifted to those who can least afford it. How do these GOP legislators live wth themselves. Rent credits go to the elderly, disabled, etc. This new proposal must be part of the new GOP religious/hypocrasy belief system!!

Can someone please explain to me---why the GOP is pushing this? Second question---why?

@idrivefast, the social conservatives are still in office because the people in Minnesota keep voting for them. They get votes because they are very good at getting the middle-class to fight over issues such as gay rights, voter ID, and any other smoke screen issues. All the while they keep feeding their masters; those that paid for them to get into office.
