OK. Let's not play politics. Let's surface when any politician has committed adultery. I vote to expose them all, regardless of party affiliation. Then we can be fair. The public can understand the democrats and republicans who cheat on their husbands and wives. Is that what we want as voters? If so, we need to apply scrutiny equally. If not, drop it!

So it was Ok for Sen Michel to sign an ethics complaint for misstatements re a corts position re a gay issue, but it's not OK to ask for the same review of misstatements & coverups over an affair between a Sen and one of her staff?? Typical Repub attitude towards morality and ethics, the GOP is exempt cause the have good intentions, whereas they depict Dems as conivers and just plain dishonest. Vote out the GOP hypocrits!!!

I think Geoff should know when to pick a fight. Plenty of rumors at the Capital about him and a lobbyist friend. Might be why he's not running for re-election to "spend more time with family."

notadumdem: first of all Bill Clinton is a name and not two words...but at any rate so are you saying lets go FULL FORCE like what was done with Clinton and expose Geoff, put in on TV, bring out the evalgelicals and mob and demand his removal, or are you saying what was done to Bill Clinton was wrong and we need to learn a lesson from that and leave Geoff alone?

Michele has been one of the moderate standouts of the Republican party. To go after him just invites more petty and distructive politics that fail to address real problems facing the state. One can understand why he isn't running for reelection. Why would anyone want to drag their family through the mud that is our state capital? When good people decide enough is enough we all suffer.

Oh sure, the DFL party is pure as the driven snow. They have never had elected personnel nor candidates lie, cheat or steal.

I thought the republicans were going to bring dignity back to politics? So much for that lofty goal. Who cares who sleeps with who anyway, unless it's criminal activity.
