Newport Library opens a new chapter: Open 7 days a week

I wish the story had a photo. It's such a nice little library in a former Baptist church. Very New Englandy looking. I grew up in Newport and this little library was my passport to the world of literature. It was only open a couple of day a week, as I recall. I'm sure I read very Tom Swift book at least twice. Jules Verne, Daniel Defoe, and Mark Twain were among my favorites. I am so happy to learn it will continue to be a library.
