"We really need Asher Allen to really step up and play well for us. With our young secondary, Mistral Raymond, we need him to play well for us. We'd like to get Hussain Abdullah back from the concussion." --- Dammit, this team still thinks these guys deserve a chance, and that scares the crap out of me (with the exception of Mistral).

Going to sigh a free agent or two? Better hurry, there are very few impact players left to sigh. Get stronger through the draft? I certainly hope so!!!! The Vikings first, second, and third should give them some capable bodies, if the Vikes staff have proved their ability at due diligence. Big question, do we still need a winning quaterback?

I would like to see the Vikes bring back Erin Henderson and sign Jerome Simpson. I know the signing of Jerome Simpson would be a debated move but in spite of his poor decision making with the marijuana feleny he committed he remains one of the most talented wide receivers in free agency, he is young, and if he is ready to become an adult he could really help the Vikings. There are other Vikings that had personal problems before they became stars for the Vikes.

Sid time to start asking some real questions, like Leslie you said last year these guys needed to step up, they couldn't do it last year what makes you think they will be any better this year. The only thing I see for this Viking squad is a chance to be the second team in the league to go 0-16. Just remember Sid thought last years Vikings would compete for the division, that should tell you just how far gone Sid is.

How can I feel good about my team for this upcoming season when our coach cites FOUR unproven offensive linemen who "have to really come on for us", and a group of unproven rookies. That gives me no confidence whatsover, when I see a really good OT (Winston) sign a four-year deal with KC for only $22-million, while we sign an injury-prone tight end for $25-million. I hate to say this, but I'm quickly losing faith in Coach Frazier and our new GM, Spielman. My gut tells me it is going to be another looong season. At least we will get more "high" draft choices for our re-building effort !@!!

Aquiring these guys is good, but what happens if there is no stadium deal? Do they even start the season?

Brandon Fusco is going to be a guy who has to come along and play better for us...We need Chris DeGeare to really come on for us.... DeMarcus Love, a young man we drafted a year ago, we need those young guys to come along and play well for us." ///// MEANING they are terrible and have nobody that has proven they can or will step up. Nicks (if he would have been willing to play here) and Kalil would have been a very nice start. If Frazier honestly believes they are playing for next year, there is NO reason to not go after guys now. It proves once again next year is a wash. If you are in a rebuilding mode (every team goes through it) you need to sign guys when they become available and not keep waiting to build.

Mario Mannigham just got signed to the 49er's. Just cut the crap Vikings and just say that NO one wants to play in Minnesota especially since your GM just admitted you are't trying to contend for another 3 to 4 years yet your head coach wants to win now. Im convinced the the Vikings management are on different planets . Dumb. Just dumb people run the Vikings. Go to LA it makes the same amount of sense it did the day the Vikings we in talks to going to LA.
