U women's hockey blazes past Cornell to face Badgers in NCAA final

The usual suspects from the WCHA will appear at the NCAA championship game Sunday.

Congratulations to the Women's Gopher hockey team on the win! Very good game. The goal by Amanda Kessel was awesome - great moves to get around the defender and then the goalie. A lot of the media was talking about Cornell's high-powered offense, but I'd say the Gophs offense is pretty darn good, too. The championship game should be great. It will probably be a close one that will come down to the final seconds. I really like the Gophs chances - like I stated before, they can play with any women's college team. Again, congrats on the win! And good luck in the title game!!!
