It's the old Catch 22 rule adopted by literally every insurance company and we, and many of our friends who are nearing the age of medicare, are experiencing it. They don't want to insure us, but will, and since we don't have group insurance, they hike our premiums(now one fourth of my net income) to where we pay through the nose, even though we have NOT filed a claim. For all you complaining about health care reform, and in a group, try an experiment. Go on your own to look for health insurance and see what you find out and how frustrated you become and remember one simple truth. If you say, "well, it can't happen to me" keep in mind you are one pink slip away from joining our club. I hope you are young enough to qualify for a decent policy, without an embarrassingly high deductible, that you can afford. I wish you luck.

At least they're honest. Without the mandate they will discriminate. In fact, they MUST discriminate seems to be what they are saying. Our compassionate conservatives must be all exited about this news this fine Sunday morning.
