He was Utah-bound with the Wolves a day before the trade deadline, as scoring-starved teams put out feelers.

This is a tough call since Beasley seems to be getting his head straight. Both players probably walk after the end of the season. Beasley knows the system but Crawford would have to fit in. But, Crawford would give us needed depth at the 1-2. I guess if I'm on another team I'd fear the Wolves more w Beasley in the mix than Crawford? Dunno...

Ray Allen would lead this team into the Play-offs.

I rather see B stay here in Minny but if we aren't planning on signing him for next year then getting a 31 year old "real" shooting guard helps add stability and height to our undersized back court.

Don't do it. We'd be losing a 23 yo scorer who's finally maturing and getting a 32 yo who'll be gone at the end of the year. Plus Ellington, Johnson and Webster have been fairly solid as of late.

Oh and Wikipedia somehow already lists that Crawford plays for the T-wolves. They must know something that we dont.

I have a lot of faith in Coach Adelman. If he knows something that we don't and wants this trade to go down, then I guess I'll live with it. But otherwise I say KEEP MICHAEL BEASLEY ON THE TIMBERWOLVES. He brings a dimension to this team that we need; he can be that "x factor". He's a prolific scorer and getting more efficient by the day. His defense is (IMHO) improving. He's young. The guys we are rumored to get in trade are not. Let's keep building. We're awfully good this year and will be better next year. No need to shake things up right now unless it was for a very special player. Crawford isn't that player and neither is Richardson.

Wikipedia knows a lot of things that we don't because they're not true. It may be right tomorrow but it's not right tonight. Anybody can put anything up on Wiki, can't they?

I would not do this trade either. Crawford turns 32 this month and is nothing special. It is not like we are one player away from going to the conference finals or winning it all with Rubio now out. I would keep Beasley for this season and see how his attitude is as he seems to be getting better and seems like a team player and then decide on his $8 million option in the offseason. There is only one month left in the regular season anyway.

I'm not excited by this. Beasley isn't my favorite but Crawford doesn't seem like much in exchange.

I am happy to see the Wolves doing better, but think Rubio's injury changes things. I would have done this trade before his injury, but I would now keep this team young or trade for youth. Perhaps they think they cannot re-sign him, which would surprise me. At 23, and as a small forward he could have 10 more years and has the tools to have huge upside if he can lay off the bong.
