"Asked if he sees a scenario where the righthanded-hitting Willingham would move in between the lefthanded-hitting M&M Boys, Gardenhire said it might happen against tough lefthanded pitchers."...I don't see this ever happening. Gardy would have to get new stone tablets out along with the hammer and chisel. No, anything short of an injury, the 3-5 hitters will be set in stone for the season. This man rarely changes the lineup, even if a change might be better against a certain pitcher.

I say Baker on the DL is an advantage to the Twins, not a disadvantage.

My prediction is happening...Baker will be on the DL before spring training is over!!! The guy is a whimp!

Should have never let him throw 100 pitches. That's just way too many. Time to update the Organizational Bible.

Another Tommy John surgery coming up. Looks like management better get those pitch counts down for the starters. Maybe get our starters out of there after just 70 pitches from now on. That should get a couple of the starters through the 2nd inning.

Should have dumped Baker long ago! He probably doesn't even make other Major League team rosters!

Two words. Roy Oswalt. C'mon Terry, quit dinking around and sign him. Baker is a train wreck.

Shocking once again the only stories we hear out of Twins camp are about injuries. Judging by the lack of interest in anything Twins related it's clear people are bored and tired with the same old stuff from these pansies.

Baker is a damn good pitcher when healthy so I don't understand bashing his talent. However, the TWINS and many other teams theory on limiting pitch counts doesn't seem to be protecting many pitchers from injuries. This drives Blyleven and Nolan Ryan nuts and Ryan isn't implementing that philosophy in Texas. It would make sense if TWINS starters were healthier because of low pitch counts, BUT THEIR NOT. Doing the same thing gets the same results. The TWINS are proof of that with pitchers and playoffs.
