Wild's Foster happy new icing rule likely near

The defenseman, who suffered a broken femur in 2008 during an icing situation,has campaigned for the NHL to adopt a safer regulation.

Hybrid icing is in the too little too late catagory but it is an intermediate step that is probably needed to move in the right direction. There are still too many knot headed old guard in the NHL that think mean and/or stupid is tough !

I agree whole heartedly the we need the hybrid icing rule. It just makes too much sense!
