This is just another example of the typical revolving door of Democrats in Minneapolis. A developer has to pay one Democrat, Cherryhomes, who then tells the Democrats on the city council what's in it for them. As usual, the taxpayers get the shaft.

JC is crooked as a dogs leg. She should have went to jail for abuse of income restricted HUD money when she used it on her own home when she was city counsel president. As for her being a lobbyist for developers helping them maneuver their way through permitting process in Minneapolis, she always did that. JC bullied city counsel members to get the desired outcomes to benefit her. Her infamous slogan "sometimes we must just hold our noses and vote yes" for projects that should not have been approved usually meant she and her friends were making money out of the deal. JC ... always remember what goes around comes around and I wouldn't want to be in your shoes when that time comes.

The queen of "Eminent domain", rises again like the Phoenix from the ash heap. It is amazing to me that the one "quality" that these habitual politicos seem to share and one that must be linked to a gene for stupid , false smiles it the ability to have shame. Simply incredible

What she did do those she didn't like in North Mpls. was criminal. Using "heavy handed" to describe her style is an understatement. She's a bully and never forgets an "enemy". It's no wonder developers and some business people like her. She knew who would help her later on. She never did much good for the people in the North Side.

Why isn't Ms. Cherryhomes being investigated for offering campaign donations in exchange for access to elected officials and city contracts? Jackie should be banned from being a lobbyist!
