Minnesota had no problem scoring against North Dakota -- except when the UND net was empty -- and secured a trip to Duluth for the national semifinals.

Congratulations to the Gophers Women's Hockey team!! They continue to amaze me; I thought this game would be closer with North Dakota wanting to have a better showing after the Gophs won the previous game pretty handily. I agree when Sarah Erickson stated the team was peaking at the right time. With Noora Raty seeming to be on a mission to prove to everyone else she should have been the one on the First Team All-WCHA; and Amanda Kessel providing consistent scoring punch, along with the balanced scoring the team has; I feel this team can play with ANY women's college hockey team. Again, congratulations women's Gopher hockey team on making it to the FInal Four!!!

Strong finish,Gophers. This is the best Minnesota team in a while, and they have as good a chance as anyone in Duluth.

Nice win Gophers...and nice to see the Lamoreaux twins lose after bailing on their team to play elsewhere.

Congrats to Gopher women puck players. A fantastic victory to go back to the final four. Find a way to win two more games and bring home the national championship. Good to show the ND transfer sisters that we are the better program. And Amanda Kessel scores a shorty, just crushing. Woo hoo go, go Gophers.

Great job Gophers! Extremely fitting that the 2 traitors were the ones who got burned on the play. What more could you ask for?? This team easily has the talent to win it all. Anything can happen, but this team is on fire right now, and the timing is perfect. Raty is an impenetrable wall back there, and with the solid balanced scoring by a group of talented forwards, this team is the one to beat the rest of the way.
