The Dome: A grand host

  • Updated: March 10, 2012 - 6:54 PM

In addition to hosting the Twins, Vikings, Gophers football and baseball and, at their beginning, the Timberwolves, the Dome hosted the 1985 Major League All-Star Game, eight games of the 1987 and 1991 World Series, Super Bowl XXVI in 1992, the 1998-99 NFC Championship and the NCAA Final Four twice (1992, 2001). It is the only venue to host a baseball All-Star Game, a Super Bowl, an NCAA Final Four and a World Series. It has hosted many other sporting events, including several high school championships, namely the Prep Bowl. MUSIC AT THE DOME
