State park camper cabins: Home away from home

Tents and RVs remain the housing of choice for campers in Minnesota's state parks, but an option in between is becoming more common and immensely popular. Camper cabins, they're called, and you'd better book early .

Nice article, but poor timing since the DNR website is still unable to process reservations. Book early is nice advice if you could even do it, but you can't. And whatever cheap garage-hacker company got the DNR contract is too stupid and too slow to fix a problem 2 weeks old.

This is so interesting and a fairly cheap way for families to have a weekend away! I was just a little girl when my family stayed in a cabin like this in Yellowstone Park. My sisters and I often talk about of our great memories of camping out. So glad that the DNR and Gov. Dayton supports this idea!
