It's hard to believe there are so many "free market" republicons in favor of this stadium boondoggle!!!!!

Does anyone else think it's hypocritical of the republicons to be in favor of a referendum on gay marriage, but against a referendum for spending a BBBillion dollars for an unnecessary football stadium???

The politics in all this literally makes me wanna gag. How many people are complaining about Target Field? It's awfully simple: build stadium or lose team.

"leaders sign on"? I, for one, don't want these "leaders". And no StarTribune headline will make them "leaders". These ostensible "leaders" are trying to sell out their constituent's tax dollars to private entities who should pay for their own real estate. "Leaders" !!! No!!! Sell-outs? For sure!!!

It is hard to imagine a bigger waste of resources than another new stadium when we have one with a new roof and playing surface on the same site. Just say NO!

No one is going to lose their jobs based on a yes or no vote on one issue! I cannot believe the gutless politicians we have in our legislature!

First of all...why is it that...all these sponsors of the stadium are so for agreeing to tax Minneapolis residents for any part of it...Thanks RT, one more reason I will not vote for u...but back to the heart of my answer....if the Vike's are such a "legacy" for this state....let everyone in the state pay...ie: Sid H...u talk the talk...then walk the walk...U pay what RT wants the citizens of Mpls (who will never see a dime from the Vikings "bailout"" to pay"...becuz u want a tax that u won't have to pay..cuz u don't live everyday in Mpls....all your columns have never asked or mentioned a statewide tax to cover the stadium...does that mean u know it would be rejected???? U always talk about the income taxes these players pay...well that goes to the state pool so why not have the same state pool pay for the stadium....
