The Wild surrendered a season-high seven goals, with little hope that things will get better any time soon.

This team has no heart and has quit on Yeo...sure they don't have Koivu, Bouchard, and Latendresse, but come on man. It's time for Yeo to go and bring in an experienced coach

Is this a joke? It is, right? Where are the cameras? We're being punked, right? ...Right? This can't be for real. Can it?

The Sorry State of Hockey again. I hope the Gophers can make us proud and make it deep into the NCAAs. Anyone wants my Wild/Canucks Tics for late this month? I'm giving it away.

Maybe Fletcher will quit fetishizing AHL coaches at some point

A complete mess. Either the owner makes the right changes to get it fixed or the Wild will remain irrelevant. The Wolves were the same way until they finally hired the right coach who wouldn't accept anything less than 100% from his players.

Yes! The Wild scored a goal. Good times.

There's beauty in this loss and this current slide, if you look beneath the surface. Tonight, Anaheim passed us in the standings. Now, there's no way this team (the Wild) is going to catch anyone ahead of them. The Islanders are but a point behind us, Carolina sits a mere two points back. Each will have passed the Wild by this time next week. More great news. Furthermore, Montreal sits five points back. They should have us in the next couple weeks. Now, if Edmonton could just buckle down and get its act together and realize that it needs to get better at some point after all those top draft picks, they too could pass us by year's end. Meaning? Well, the Wild would then pick #2 and could take Russian Mikhail Grigorenko, a sure-to-be-stud in this league. That would be huge, and perhaps this team could actually make the playoffs next year with him and the other prospects coming. We can only cross our fingers, but I say, "Great job tonight, boys. Keep up the good work!"

@mrteeth Obviously you aren't a real Gophers fan. No Gophers fan would say, "...hopefully we make it deep into the NCAAs." That's like a Yankees fan saying he hopes the Yanks make it to the ALCS. Like those fans, there's but one goal for a Gophers fan, no matter what's happened the past three years: to win NCAA National Championships. And with this current team's talent, it would be a huge disappointment not to win it all this year. Secondly, to all of you bashing Yeo, where's the talent? Really, where's the talent? You have two-thirds of your first line out for most of the year, your best second-line playmaker out most of the year, your best second-line sniper out 14 games, no real depth on the roster, and no real leadership on the ice (someone rip that "C" off Koivu's chest already!). Give it until fall. This team will be a completely different club next year. Yeo's system works. He just requires a few NHL players on the ice to actually pull it off. Here's the truth: had the first line been healthy all year (Lats on Heater's opposite wing) and the second line health was well, Heater would have at least 30 goals by now, Lats would have at least 25, and Seto would have at least 25. That's the truth, and this team's fate would look completely different at this point.

Deficient in every facet of the game. This hockey tem is so bad, it's fun to watch. Sort of cartoon hockey.
