More than any other piece I've read on this scandal - and I've read plenty - this is the one that sums up why it matters so much. Eloquent. Thank you.

The writer of this article is correct. What we witnessed in watching the NFL championship game was criminal activity taking place, with a appearance at the super bowl being at stake. It is illegal to pay one person, to intentionally disable another person. The people involved, in the Saint's organization, should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Anyone that watched, the game, would also question the integrity of the officiating at that game, and should be investigated. As far as punishment that should be rendered by the NFL, towards the saints organization and the people involved. Anyone involved, or having knowledge, should be banned from the NFL for life. The Saints football team, should be banished from the NFL, as a football organization.
