JJ is really starting to annoy me! Why is he taking the last shot?

Good win, but I find myself absolutely baffled by some of Adelman's coaching moves. Benching Rubio for most of the 4th quarter made no sense to me. Beasley starts playing well then sits the rest the game. I know shouldn't complain, but I don't think this game needed to be this close.

Great game. However why does Wes still start and play 20 or so minutes a game. He has no confidence and cant make a shot to save his life. Seems like a good guy but he needs to sit next to Randolph on the bench. BTW K love is a monster all game and JJ takes the last shot?????

Blake Griffin should have to kiss Kevin Love's feet after this. Third time we have schooled the Clippers. I really look forward to watching Timberwolves games, I am liking this!

Oh and what was with Blake Griffin not tossing the ball to a ref or the TWolves player and instead letting it roll to half court? This guy has no class at all. After every one of this shots he just stands there with some stupid look like he is going to be in on the highlights or something. I really can't stand him. I hope ESPN shows him missing all of his free-throws in their highlights..

JJ is a good decision maker, he ate a ton of time off the clock that last possession and drove the lane. He is quick, had no open pass, that was what he is supposed to do. Also, Wes Johnson gets good playing time because he is a good, long defender, and if you watched the game against Portland on Saturday, he was drilling his shots too.

We can look so good at times and then the end of the game comes and we turn into idiots. We were up 5 with the ball at just over 40 ticks left. Why were we scared of the ball. The clippers had to foul us in that situation, why didn't webster just hold onto the ball instead of trying to get rid of it. He turns it over to Paul and is immediately fouled. Then the foul on 3 pointer at the end. Come on guys, you should have blown them out!

No one remembers the last 4 years? Almost every post has a gripe in it. Kevin Love schooled Kenyon Martin, a good defender, with his last two baskets. Kevin Love is nails. JJ, Webster and Williams made critical mistakes in the last 30 seconds and they still won. They are all learning to win. I am sure that Adelman congratulated the team for the win and then ripped into them for those potentially costly mistakes at the end of the game. Those are huge teaching moments. Adelman was behind Webster and Chris Paul on that turnover and foul and you could see him pounding the scorers table. At that point they were up five with the ball. But, it's not like Webster tried to throw it away...he was out there competing and so was Chris Paul. Rubio made a smart play by missing that second free throw on purpose. I think the Clippers fans will have more to complain about with the technical fouls and CP missing the 3rd free throw. I watched the Clippers telecast out here in La La land, their announcers said it best, this is becoming a good rivalry. They are highly impressed with Love's game and his determination to win. Me too.

If we can't beat the Packers, at least we can still beat up the Clippers!

I figured the Clippers would be motivated for this adventure. That the Timberwolves pulled this one out makes me very happy and gives me a sense of optimism.
