What a dumb article! I can easily see that you are mocking the Vikings fans. Those solutions were just stupid, except for one. The first one! I have no problem with the NFL taking the Super Bowl away from the Saints.

Mostly garbage/joke ideas... why not mention giving IND and MN the draft picks that are soon to be confiscated?

I can see taking away the NFC crown from the Saints, but ONLY if it came out that some of the refs were paid to look the other way. Then yes...give the NFC crown to us, take away their SB trophy, and declare no SB winner for that year. But in lue of all that, I say we should get NO 1st round pick this year. That way we at least get something for our troubles

"Replay the entire NFC title game, reassembling the rosters of both teams exactly as they were for the game. Sure, this would mean bringing back players who have moved on from both sides. But it's the fairest way to solve this problem. And besides, it would give Favre a league-sanctioned reason to come back one more time" Love it Michael. In a fair game without the bounties and missed calls by the refs; the Vikings would have been in the SB. Brett at his age could still pull it off given the chance !!! And talk about ratings !!!1

The combination of missed "game changing calls by the Refs" in favor of the Saints and the injuries inflicted to Brett by way of Bounty changed the outcome of this games outcome and the wrong team went to the Super Bowl. Nothing less then the removal of the trophy that was only won because of illegal injuries to Hall of Fame players; would be enough to send a real message to the NFL fans that the NFL is truly serious about this disgrace down to the Vikings, Brett Favre and the whole league !! Do the right thing Roger. This tarnishes the whole reputation of the league until it is dealt with !!!

This is what I've been saying! If it was the NCAA, they'd have vacated the Saints' participation in the postseason (ala Gophers or USC). Ugh, the NFL and their Katrina feel-good story is blowing up in their face now!

the only solution to the issue is to strip the saints of their championship, strip them of their first 3 rounds of draft picks for the next 2 seasons, and give gregg williams and sean payton the pete rose treatment, and permanently ban them from working in the nfl. also, the players pictured in this image: http://espn.go.com/espn/gallery/enlargePhoto?id=4865870 - need to be suspended for a year, without pay, as well as pay incredibly large fines.

ps: if i paid my neighbor to beat up the kid down the street, it would be a crime. i would go to jail for conspiracy to commit assault. i don't immediately rule out legal action in this instance either.

1. Award the Colts the SB Trophy 2. Award the Vikings the NFC Championship 3. Bring anyone involved in the Saints organization up on charges!

Lets just make New Orleans pay for half of our stadium, strip them of the Super Bowl title and we'll call it even.
