The Gophers believe they can put together a run in Indianapolis like they did when they went to the championship game two years ago.

The Tubster is off his rocker. He hasn't recruited the talent needed to play Big Ten basketball. Keep dreaming Tubby if you think this team will make it to the Big Ten tourney championship game.

Really? Seriously, Sid? You think any reader believes you? the Gohpers won't win one game. Then I suppose you'll say they deserve to be in the NIT

I was at the game, and they played great. They can beat anybody, and tournaments are like that. Ya gotta believe. Great team in the making.

only Sid is silly enough to think they have any hope.

Let's hope Tubby's team is at least able to watch the post season tournaments on some nice high definition flat screen TV's! Ski - U - Mess!

We need to get out from under this two year deal to Smith. We can't recruit with him "hanging around" for two more years. Minnesota has some big time talent coming in two years. Set the table with a new coach now.

THE GOPHERS DID WELL IN THE 2010 BIG TEN TOURNAMENT BECAUSE IVERSON AND JOSEPH STARTED INSTEAD OF SAMPSON AND ANOTHER PLAYER THAT SMITH STARTED. IVERSON AND JOSEPH WERE THE ONLY GOPHERS NAMED TO THE ALL TOURNAMENT TEAM. SMITH DID NOT START THEM THE NEXT YEAR SO IVERSON AND JOSEPH TRANSFERED. IF SMITH STARTS ELIASON, RODNEY, AUSTIN HOLLINS, WELSH AND EITHER ANDRE HOLLINS OR CHIP THEY CAN DO THE SAME AT THIS YEARS BIG TEN TOURNAMENT. THE GOPHERS GET VERY GOOD PLAYERS BECAUSE OF MINNEAPOLIS'S GREAT CITY REPUTATION NO MATTER WHO THE COACH IS. SMITH LOSES BECAUSE HE DOES NOT KNOW WHO TO PLAY SO HE PLAYS TWO TEAM. THE HIGH OCTANE PLAYERS THAT COME TO THE U OF M HAVE DIFFICULTY RESETTING THEIR INNER CLOCKS TO PLAY SMITH'S SLOW DOWN OFFENSE. PLAYERS LIKE ARMELIN, ANDRE HOLLINS, AUSTIN HOLLINS, WELCH, RODNEY AND COLEMAN WITH THE TWO OR THREE BIGS THAT REBOUND THAT THE GOPHERS ALWAYS SEEM TO HAVE WOULD BLOW OTHER TEAMS OFF THE FLOOR IN A FASTER OFFENSIVE SYSTEM.

Good Sid, even contemplating a run by this team is further proof you should be in a home under full time care.

Has Matt Birk ever said why he left the Vikings? In all honesty, it cannot possibly be because of money. If Matt is a close and personal friend, perhaps this question could be asked, and let the Viking fans know the real reason. It is just my opinion, but, I don't think money had anything to do with it, please let us know, and prove me correct or wrong. Thanks, we are all awaiting the response to this, if it gets posted.
