Ralph Fiennes also directs this modern-day Shakespeare play full of blood, politics and fearsome glowering.

As a fan of Shakespeare this is on my short list. I've never heard of 'Coriolanus' and up until now 'Hamlet' has been my favorite W.S. play - the moral decay at the top of government and how a nation implodes as a result is rather fascinating and pertinent to today. But before seeing 'Coriolanus' I'll have to read a bit on it first. Hollywood's strong tendency to incorporate little anti-American or other politically correct and anti-family messages into their plotlines tends to ruin a lot of what could be good stories, even things as great as Shakespeare's plays are not immune to this pc monkey-business. How honestly this is interpreted is will determine whether I see this in a theater, rent it on DVD or just wait for it the show up in a $2 clearance bin at the superstore…or even see it at all. (BTW - Kurosawa's 'Ran' is also fantastic for Shakespeare addicts.)
