I wonder if Mr. Jackson will have to pay name royalties to the original "Jackson's Hole" bar in Lawler, MN?

The people who own condos in downtown Minneapolis typically are disgusted with the problems that the binge drinkers who frequent these bars cause. We are tired of the cost of policing them and the serious liveability issues that they engender. The Twins stadium was not a welcome facility in the North Loop neighborhood (which includes the Warehouse District.) But, at least they have made an effort to reach out to the families in the neighborhood. There are now 36,000+ people who have purchased homes in downtown and most want the areas of sleaziness along Hennepin and First Aves cleaned up. There seems to be a constant turn-over on these bars---They would be better off getting ahead of the game and coming up with business plans for family-friendly venues. As they are, they are pushing business out of Minneapolis by creating an environment where behaviorally-appropriate people, whether from Minneapolis or elsewhere, are afraid to visit. I don't feel compelled to continue to permit bar-owners to make money at my expense and I am not alone in feeling this way.
