I know a lot of drug users and Dr.'s, they hate each other. People will pop pills cause it is the only legal drug dealer that can get them high. Dr.'s see what the general public is doing and insist they are in pain. So I hate to say it but if the medical industry started to produce medical marijuana the pill crowd will switch over. Business men fro the drug companies will always make money off of our pill addicted patients, that's legal. Most pill poppers will take weed, trust me. I hear the pill poppers say well if I could smoke I wouldn't need so many pills. Dr.'s have to deal with these patients, if you have a patient and know he is abusing he still has to deal with the addict, and they do get hostile too when they need their pills. so hope someone helps our dr.'s and legalize marijuana and they could pay our state debt down with that alone.

This is the same Jim Backstrom that was sactioned by the Bar Association for his improper actions related to witness tampering in a felony murder case. He had to pay a significant fine as part of his settlement in recognition of his unprofessional and unethical actions. I'd take anything he says with a big grain of salt given his severely tarnished ethical history.

I don't like drugs, but I have to tell you Mr.Backstrom et al. you have lost this war and your strategies continue to make it worse. One day, hopefully soon, your budgets will not be the bottomless pits they are today and you'll have to use your heads to solve problems -- not your might.
