I've watched Toby Gardenhire play. I'm a season ticket holder for the Rochester Red Wings AAA club in the Twins organization. Toby will be a great coach, bringing his work ethic to his new career. Toby never held back, never trotted out a dinged ball to an out- always raced for the base. Toby got better every game. I was able to speak with Toby a few times. He is a gentleman and a consummate professional. We will miss him in Rochester. Best of luck to you, Toby, in your coaching career and in your family life. It was great having you in Rochester.
