twins haven't done anything to replace the bullpen talent that walked in 2010 and then let two hitters walk in 2011 - that they subsequently didn't replace. If anyone says they are going to do well this year - they are looking through "Twins glasses". At least they will be under 100mil in payroll...yawn.

Raise your hand if you didn't see this coming. But please, Joel, don't raise your hand.

It's deja vu all over again. The next story will read Mauer's legs hurt and Morneau has a headache. At least Joe Nathan can pick up the slack. Oh wait...

Terry Ryan's batting a thousand so far. This is what you get when you insist on dumpster diving.

This was low risk/high reward, the Twins knew there was a good chance he would get hurt.

If the Twins did indeed know it was a good chance of happening...why was the contract quaranteed? We'd all like $800,000 deposited in out bank accounts.

The second edition of Terry Ryan is really testing my patience. Goes out and signs a 38 yr old SS, who has never started in his career, a below mediocre starter in Marquis, and his solution to the bullpen was to sign a huge health question mark in Zumaya despite many other RH's out there available for cheap. They are all now signed, Zumaya is done and it isnt even March, and now we dont have a right handed setup guy. This stinks.

nyderek27-your clueless when it comes to baseball. They only have to pay him $400,000 since he will not play a game in the regular season. In the professional sports world that is low risk/low money. But please continue to comment on things that you dont have the facts for.
