"No cure for Spine Injuries?" Hmmm, in 2001 when George Bush decided he would ban taxpayer funding for stem cell research all you heard was that help for spinal injuries was just a year away. They even toted out Christopher Reeve in a wheelchair for visual effect. Then in 2009 when Obama reversed the directive another cure was just around the corner and Obama was our hero. Could there be a media generated Vail of false hope?

Excellent and informative article! It helped me to better understand spinal injuries. Glad to know that patients are being encouraged to work out and at least keep the brain stimulated in hope that connection with the body might be possible eventually for some.

Fact check: those are not volunteers, those are highly trained staff members, who have experts at intensive fitness therapy methods.
