This simply should not be allowed to happen in our "Enlightened" society. There are tens of thousands of people like these who are not noticed, or don't qualify under riduiculous rules. We seem to have no problem funding wars around the planet, but these stories really make me wonder if our priorities are a little misplaced...

Well we've gone from how do we build and fund a stadium to pretty much where are we going to put it, maybe this kid and his mom can sleep there. How can we treat poor people the way we do and still offer stadiums and paid time off to people who have more than enough?

It's one thing to speculate about what we might do or to pontificate about what should have been done. Can anything be done for Blake and his mom NOW, now that we know about what they are going through?
