Draymond Green and Michigan State are trampling competition in the Big Ten, enabling the senior to cross more things off his many lists coming into tonight's game against the Gophers.

The gophers have only two possible chances in Hades to stop Green, and one relies on a freshman playing out of his mind while a junior plays team with the freshman... Eliason wearing on Green's legs while not fouling a top team darling of the Big Ten refs - and on defense resisting even a tiny body bump, standing arms straight up, on every shot to force the shot high and clearly avoid the foul while he relies on Rodney to come up his back to block Green's shots -- and in rebounding, Eliason blocking Green out while Williams sweeps glass on Green's side, middle of the rim to glass. And no hooking back going to the basket on offense - he can, you can't... The other option is to put a sheet of acrylic on the rim.... ($50 says Smith doesn't do either... but will he get someone out there to blame after the game? - we can again hope he might learn... after all, hope for change is what gopher fans do.)

Spartans by 25 and Chubby changes the line-up next game...

Well, they don't just have Green! Every starter is too much for the Gophs ... Gophers just are not a very good team. There isn't a go-to guy and other than Welch (maybe Dre) no once can shoot the three with any consistency. Not sure I will dare watch.....

I have a lot of respect for Izzo and the Sparties, but Dray Green is one of my least favorite players in the B1G. Most of that is due to the fact that in his first few years he'd get all hyped up and jacked up off of grabbing a simple rebound or blocking a shot and would start celebrating like most NFL players do after making a routine tackle. That drove me nuts, I haven't noticed it much out of him this year though... So whatever. This will probably be the first game this year where I'm not going to go out of my way to watch more than the first half if the Gophs aren't going to be competitive. Watching this team get smacked around by everyone in the B1G is starting to get old.

hobie2, don't know where you came up with that strategy - sounds like something Chubby would plan on . . . . . . but if Rodney gets too close to Draymond, he'll tear his head off and eat it.

Ralph is going to show Green what tough really is tonight, right? I know, I was laughing when I wrote it.

Personally I like Green, I think he deserves Big ten player of the year....Ideally it would be a gopher, but clearly I'm not that delusional. This will be a game where were really going to miss Mbakwe!

5-9 now Chubby, after tonight 5-10. I'll say it again like I did when the gophers were 5-6 they will not win another game. So going into the Big Ten tourney Chubby and his boys will be 5-13. It seems if we wanted a lousy coach we should be able to get one alot cheaper. I'll bet ur sweating Chubby, worrying about ur extension. I know maybe Ralph the turd will save the day and shut down Draymond Green.
