Ok, Backstrom haters, where are ya?

Great game - something to build on now. Keep it going Wild!

Detroit is HockeyTown, home of the best NHL hockey team in a couple of generations, the Detroit Red Wings!! Sorry Minnesota, in this salary cap NHL era, what is the excuse for the Wild? I feel sorry for the great hockey fans of Minnesota - you deserve much better than the Wild, yet you continue to fork over your hard earned dollars to this team, home game after home game... Why should the Wild deliver a better product when you still support one of the worst teams in the NHL...

After the last game I said are they the worst team in the league. Now they played like they are capable of playing. So the question is are they just lazy the bad games?

Finally a good game. Dang the Bruins are good even when they are off. Scary. Good to see Kassy in there to hold our own.

I hope the players that have been getting ripped are sayin "look at me now, look at me now". Great game, best I've seen in weeks and not just because of Backs though he played insanely good. Good hard forecheck all game and the D showed some grit. Amazing how good it feels to win. Keep it up boys and maybe Fletcher will get back on the band wagon.

Sell now after this win. Call up a Dallas and see if they want another team. It's not like the Wild are going to the playoffs anytime soon. 13 years of a team that can't ever score and this win doesn't change much.

Very good effort today but where has that efort been for most of the middle of the season ? Nice goal ChadR !

washburnlkFeb. 19, 12 5:28 PM

letsgoblue, sounds like a bitter fan who's "best team in hockey" managed to beat the Coyotes and bow out the last 2 years, not to mention we're up 2-1 this year. You worry about your aging one and done squad and we'll take care of ours.

Note to Wild keep this Rau kid up for a little while.
