It would have been nice to know the date that Dr. Mann died. I was concerned about his welfare and googled to find that this dear savior or so many of us had gone to his God. I was disappointed that none of the articles about his death mentioned the fact that he was a lay deacon in the Catholic Church, and although critical of much of the leadership in the institutional Church, he never waivered from his Faith and successfully folded it in with his devotion to meditation and contemplation. My wife, Lois (RIP 9/27/09) and I are among the thousands who owe George and Marion our lives through his enlightened treatment of alcoholism. Rest in Peace, old friend. Peter Smith
