Watched almost the whole game. Gritty and intelligent performance by the Wolves. Love was SO prime-time when it counted and Pek played extremely well at both ends. The passing was generally really good ... nice ball movement. Ridenaur looks really comfortable and when he dosn't have to handle the ball for long stretches he is a very effective penetrator and passer. That being said - there is a job opening at what used to be called "off-guard" or "shooting guard". Wolves could not close out on Houston shooters, and continue to get little shooting, passing or havoc-making defense from that position. If they get some juice at that polition I think they can be a playoff team.

87% free throw shooting. Excellent, just excellent. Keep it up now.

Houston did not have an answer for Love and "THE BALKAN BULLDOZER!"

Love Pek. Great game. Nice response after the 4 game slump. With this condensed season, a lot of teams are having ups and downs. I didn't see the game, only able to watch highlights and follow the box score. Interesting player rotations. I remember a two years ago, it seemed like Pekovic and Rubio would never show up to Minnesota. No one could have predicted that they would be playing this well, this soon. Still lots of room for growth on this team but it is fun to watch it in progress.

When is the last time a team has won back to back most improved players? Love last year and maybe Pek this year. That would be a great achievement.

As slamman said, "interesting rotations" Adelman has definite ideas about how he wants to play against different teams and which players fit his plans. With Barea unavailable tonight he used only 8 players. I think that is the shortest rotation yet this season. It has also been interesting that he hasn't used Tolliver or Randolph at all for several games now. Earlier in the season Tolliver was a key sub.

There are rumors that the Wolves want to make a trade for Gasol. Why in the world would they do that? Where would Gasol play on this team. Kahn had better start thinking about getting a good shooting guard on the team.

Gasol could replace Williams and we would have the only all-white starting five in the NBA, and a very good one.

I promise that if Rambis was still our coach Pek would not be tearing it up like he is now..

Free throws win games, once again, free throws win games.
