found that operating a car with a cold is the equivalent to driving after consuming four double whiskies. That's right folks stay home if u have a cold but feel free to TEXT all u want...which equates to about 8 whiskeys.

And if you don't drive at all, the risk of a crash is ZERO. Increase taxes on the car to discourage them.

I dare you to cite this study and call in to work for three days in a row with the common cold. I bet your boss would be as impressed with the fake-science as fake-news story as I was, and then you'd be fired.

Right you are, flash. I just endured a killer cold this past week- one day off requires a doctor's note, two days off would trigger the old "third degree", three days and I would need not come back next week.

@george13 - don't forget the 72 hours prior notice when calling in sick, else you get written up, even with a doctor's note. Love employers like that...
