"March is, on average, one of our snowiest months".... hasn't really been an average winter though, has it?

We need RAIN, snow will not give us enough moisture. And PLEASE....do not start talking about traditional "state tournament" blizzards. Check out months and dates..40 years ago tourneys were held almost a month EARLIER !

One thing about March snowstorms is they usually melt quickly - the weeks on end, gripping cold is petered out by then. We have virtually no snow cover now and that is huge.

Quite frankly, I would welcome a good snow storm at this point. This weather, while very nice, is freaking me out. We were five inches of rain short going into fall as it was. Unless we get a wet spring it's going to be a tough year for farmers.

how about -30s for a week and then 2 feet of snow just for fun. Then back to the 40s to finish out winter.

I cast my vote we just move right into spring. Rain all you want to, but have the lows in the 40s and no more snow!
