If you want to watch pitchers duels you go to LL games and not major league parks. Fans go to watch hitters hot the long ball. If you go to get a major league baseball its when hitters hit it in the stands. Some of these parks are jokes for hitters.

Target Field wouldn't be nearly as much of a "pitchers' park" if the Twins could equal the home run output of their visiting opponents.

In 2011, Twins opponents hit 80 HR's in 82 games. If the Twins could just match their opponents HR total, there would be 160 HR in 162 games - or just under 2 HR's per game, which would launch Target Field into the top 12 hitter's parks in MLB. It's the players, not the park.

Sorry - corrections. In 2011, Twins opponents hit 80 HR's in 81 games. If the Twins could just match their opponents HR total, there would be 160 HR in 81 games - or just under 2 HR's per game, which would launch Target Field into the top 12 hitter's parks in MLB. It's the players, not the park.
