The center, who can become an unrestricted free agent after the season, is trying not to pay attention to contract talks between his agent and the team.

I hope they resign Brodzy, other than Heater he's been the best overall player on this team.

Stoner is a turnover machine. Let him walk. And rather than have Fletcher overpay yet ANOTHER mediocre player (his weakness is FA and contracts), trade Brodziak. This team is cooked, and part of the reason is because it spends too much money on mediocre players like Brodziak and Cullen and Zanon and Lundin and PMB and...well...and lots of guys. Just trade the Brodziak, and try to trade the rest of them as well. Let's reload for next year. Keep the first line. Keep Spurgeon, Scandella, and Prosser. Keep Clutter, Johnson, and Powe. And trade whomever else you can! And get some damn goal scorers for a change. Enough of these two-way guys that can't really play any offense.

Not a penny over $2.5M a year....3 years 7.5 take it or get traded.

Florida Scott, you're delusional if you think Brodziak takes $2.5M a year. He sees PMB making $4.3M, Cullen making $3.5M, Seto making $3M,Zids making $4M. We aint getting him for $2.5M a year, he is worth more than that.

Brodziak is a very good 3rd line center. His plus/minus is down this year as he has had to take over 2nd line responsibilities. That is not a good sign ! He wants to stay and something around $2.5M X 4 years or $3M X 3 years would be acceptable.

Stoner has been playing hurt nearly all season and he also lost his brother this past summer and is obviously still hurting some from that. Despite these issues he has one of the best plus/minuses on the team and he is one of the first guys to watch his team mates backs which is a great need on this team ! I wouldn't want him signing with another team in our division and have to play against him for the next 3-5 years !

Stan....every guy you mentioned is overpaid. That's like saying Brodzy has more goals than Mikko and Mikko is making $7.3M this year so KB should get $8M. Also, if he so valuable to the team how come they are TERRIBLE? He cant be that good. He plays every game and the keep on losing.......If you want things to stay the same, the keep playing with the same players. The culture needs to change on the Wild and that's difficult to do if you keep playing the same players.
