Fits right in with the GOP plan to remove regulation and allow money to rule politics.

Not that it would make any difference to the folks with the blinders on already but wouldn't recent years include ones that democrats controlled state house and/or senate?

Republicans are in control and have full blame for this inability to regulate. They care only about power and don't seem concerned about average Minnesotans or the infrastructure of this State. VOTE these fools out!

Would it shock you to learn that it's illegal for a lobbyist to buy a legislator a cup of coffee? Does that seem a little ridiculous to anyone? The fact is in MN that lobbyists are too well regulated and that alone has caused the problems for Campaign Finance and Public Disclosure Board.

Lobby contributions ARE influence peddling and vote purchasing, pure and simple. Lobbyist contributions should be banned or every dollar disclosed.

I love the comments by the liberals regarding the GOP opening it up for free flow of money. They can say this when the current governor bought is office, Obama is in line to take $1billion dollars, most from the same Super Pacs he decries and from billionaires and large corporations. These same liberals sort of elected Weird Al Franken who received huge of amounts of funding even from foreign countries. Point is - ALL politicians love and benefit from the free flow of money so grow up.

Would it shock you to learn that Repubs are against the public learning where their money comes from? How about that Repubs have a group called ALEC write their bills? Wanna talk about corporate owned hacks who think of the poor as a bunch of roaches to be stomped?
