Good for the Wild and Fontaine for owning up to it, taking responsibility and learning the lesson.

Clutterbuck doubtful because of a charley horse? Seriously? I thought he was supposed to be a "tough guy".

While his comments were wrong, as a society we have such a thin skin that if we blow our nose wrong we could be accused of offending someone. Let him play and just move on.

It is obvious the Wild need an injection of emotion but a minor league player is still a minor league player. Energize your veterans. Time to make a run at it boys.

At least this game will be on NBC sports network, so we'll get some very competent play by play, instead of home announcers that keep trying to convince us that the Wild is very, very good, just very unlucky to be losing all those games. When I was a kid growing up in NY, I remember the same kind of announcers, telling us how good but unlucky the Bills were, every game on the way to an 0-14 season. In some ways, I wish the Wild had gone the route of the Vikings this year, stinking from day one, instead of getting our hopes up by winning so much at the start of the season. Instead, they decided to emulate the Avs, and look like world beaters at the start of the year, only to auger into the ground at full throttle as the season wore on. If Yeo truly believes this team can win 2/3 of the remaining games and make it to the playoffs, he should agree to a drug test. This team can't even win 1/3 of its games these days, and in case he hadn't noticed, they're on a 4-game losing streak, with no signs they're going to miraculously improve. Keep up the auditions of the Aeros players, so you know who's going to stay and who's going to go before next season.

muggsh2o: "A guy tweets a roommate and gets suspended," hockeyfox: "as a society we have such a thin skin that if we blow our nose wrong we could be accused of offending someone"...the problem is that Twitter is a public forum. On that sort of media, it's no longer a private message. And being that he's a public figure, it turns into a reflection on the entire organization.
