Dry landscape is raising fears of a fiery spring

Methinks it might be hot and fiery in our nation's cities this year, too. Ain't gonna take much to set a spark to flame, these days.

It has been a terrible winter. Good luck finding any decent x-country skiing. The downhill areas have pretty good snow coverage, but it is all man made, and the surface conditions are sub-par. On the bright side, I made the right decision not putting snow tires on this year.
