3 years into Fletchers reign and nothing has changed. The proof is in the standings. We still get outshot badly at times, we still are a borderline playoff team, we still can not generate any offense. Fletcher is no different that Risebrough. Until Leipold decides to open his wallet and pay for an experienced GM and coach, instead of rookies, we will continue to be a borderline playoff team. This perpetual state of mediocrity (and in the case of the Wild, the WORST team in the league in December and January) is really getting old to most fans. Fletcher, ask yourself, what did you do this season to make the team better. Trading for a 3rd or 4th line forward is not the answer.

I'd say we're way past the point of referring to PMB and Lats as "regulars" and it's something Fletch should have realized long ago. Over the past 2 1/2 seasons PMB has played in 97 of 217 games and Lats has played in 105. Neither player can be counted on for next season and Fletcher has done NOTHING to replace what most would call 2 top 6 forwards. Is it surprising this team is goal challenged? The time to have made a move was back in December when these guys were lost. NO EXCUSE Fletch !! I'd sure like too see a serious story on what this team might look like next year, how realistic is it to expect the wonder "prospects" to make any real impact because frankly I think we're being sold a bill of goods. I do look for a win tonight, after being embarrassed in Cloumbus they should be motivated.

PMB and Lats are regulars? Really? Hockeyfox, the only way this team is going to get better is through the draft. Hopefully Fletcher is doing a much better job than Riseborough did. Don't trade away draft picks for over the hill players if the Wild make the playoffs this year they are not going anywhere. If Fletch can make a trade it should be to move one of our over paid and or always injured veterans to a team willing to give up draft picks or prospects.
