I don't think that any research done by the Foursquare app accredits anything..

I find Duluth to be a great place to visit in the summer. Canal Park is a great destination for romance! It's been working for 24 years!

I love Duluth in the winter... bundle up and hike along the North Shore during the day and then warm up in front of a fireplace in your room? What is more romantic than that?!

Oh cute. Foursquare wants to be important... How about the top ten cities of people who annoy their online friends.

How a hack app like Foursquare is dealt any kind of authority is beyond me. My wife and I have spent a handful of special occasions in Duluth and found it to be a great place for romance. Wonderful B and Bs. Great drive up 61. Walk the pier off canal park. Good places for a drink. And NOT expensive like nearly every city on the "most romantic" list. I guess that is a prerequisite.

Foursquare? What's that, a Facebook wannabe social network? Canal Park, the B&B's, gateway to the North Shore...its not Napa Valley but, hey, we Midwesterner's love it.

I like Canal Park. Can't say the same about the drug dealer selling synthetic drigs downtown. Don't like they close streets for months because they can't afford to repair them. Oh wait, the city council spend $bazillions to remodle their meeting chambers!

Canal Park, Glensheen and then the north shore. Hop-Skip-Jump and Duluth is behind you.

I own a jewelry store in Duluth so I know a thing or 2 about romance.I can attest to dozens of couples who come up from the Twin Cities and further to propose at places like Enger Tower,Brighton Beach,Park Point,Chester Bowl, even Bentlyville. The fellow with serious romance in mind has better things to do then check in with foursquare.
