Scola and Love love the competition and are not complaining about anything other than the ridiculous no-call by the ref when Love tomahak fouled Scola. Fine the ref not Love.

Scola woulda tripped KLove if he hadn't used his face for balance. Anyone woulda done the same thing. KLove came out of it uninjured, and that's all that matters. Way to fight, guys!

Bottom line is, KLove needs to grow up some when he doesn't get foul calls. He thought he was fouled so came down and fouled Scola hard, and the refs didn't call that one either. And the stepping thing didn't look good at all. He needs to grow up. Sometimes the refs call the foul, sometimes they don't. Can you imagine what would have happened if whenever Shaq didn't get a foul called on him he went down and tomahawked the guy who fouled him? They would be carrying guys out on stretchers! You can't do that.

I've only seen the video a few times, but it looks like Scola had his hands up Love's leg (probably to block his face) and that may have prevented Love from actually stepping over him. From what I saw it doesn't look like it was intentional.

It was clearly intentional. Love even looked down to make sure he would not miss. Kevin Love is a dirty player who lost a lot of respect around the league and worldwide last night. He called it a "heat of the moment" play, which by definition means that emotions were influencing him in that moment, which means that he himself impliedly admits it was intentional. Moreover, he refers to the previous - really unintentional - incident in the previous game where Scola was trying to save a ball from going out of bounds and the ball hit him in the groin. That shows that he was acting in retaliation and that his apology was fake and merely given for tactical reasons. Love should receive a suspension and a fine. This was a very dangerous act that cannot go unpunished. It also shows a seriously flawed character to stomp on someone's face when that person is on the ground.

A borderline dirty play. Love has had several this year, Had one the other night against Danny Granger. If he keeps it up he'll be branded as a dirty player. I'm also getting sick of his complaining about fouls. Want to lose your fans, Kevin? Keep it up.

Seriously guys. This isn't high school. The NBA does have side issues like Scola/Love that get resolved this way. It's a nothing deal. Scola and Love both know what this was about and it's over. The game was much more physical and was much worse from a retaliation stand point in the old days. As far as Granger goes, watch a replay and see what he does with his hands around Love during rebounds. Sharp elbows use to take care of that crap. Love isn't a dirty player, he just stands his ground. That's what makes him a dynamic rebounder. I do agree on the constant harping and complaining (fouls) that Love does. He does it way too much and it has a negative effect on the refs.

I bet McHale is loving Kevin Loves type of play. Something Mchale would of seen when he played.

Two points - (1) In the NBA, top teams and players shove, push, grab, hack, and talk. Like it or not, that's the way the game is played at the highest level these days. Minnesota nice is not going to win any titles. Having said that, (2) in my opinion, Scola flopped to the court and then as Love turned to go up court Scola raised his hands in the air to protect himself and Love's foot was blocked so it went down onto Scola. As this all took less than a half second of course Love looked down ... "down" is where the problem was. To imagine this was an act of anger or nastiness is asinine. If the league fines or suspends Love this will be 100% some sort of PC BS and I'm betting they'll do nothing.

McFail did the right thing in keeping his mouth shut. Joe Smith? Really! C'mon man...
