Pek might be the real deal. 27 points on 11-14 shooting and 11 boards in 25 minutes. I can't believe he is the same slow footed foul-machine from last year. Maybe he's found his groove. He definitely has chemistry with Rubio and just puts the ball up when he's under the hoop, unlike Darko who tries to dribble first and usually turns it over. I'm rooting for him. You got to love a center who looks like Jack Black and has a tattoo of a sword wielding soldier standing on pile of skulls.

It has been confirmed I have definitely come down with a case of Pek-Man fever. I am having some Dean Garrett flashbacks. And Wes, I can forgive you for a lot of things, but that foul just made me sick.

Pek has been playing great. His numbers are somewhat inflated because Rubio is so good at dropping the ball off under the basket. But unlike Darko, Pek can actually shoot a high percentage from point blank on a consistent basis. He still needs work on the defensive end, but it is glaringly obvious that he is outplaying Darko at this point. He is actually starting to look like a formidable NBA center, which would be HUGE for this team.

Ok...its obvious to everyone now...you can put Wes, Darko!, and Ridnour on the bench. You can tell them: Hey, its gonna be ok, you will still get to play. We're just gonna start Pekovic, Williams, and Ellington....because they are better!

Soooo....Beasley and Williams are better than Wes Johnson. Aaannnnnd....Ellington and Webster are better at the SG than Ridnour. Thats pretty questionable to say the least.

Pek is benefitting greatly from the pick and roll, and Rubio's ability to find him. But the bad part here is... He's not starting! I don't see where Darko deserves to be ahead of Pek in the pecking order here. But aside from Pek, Love, and Rubio, we don't have anyone else that should be out there on the court. Ridnour just seems to rub me the wrong way. I think he's mad that Rubio is pushing him aside. Johnson should be riding pine. Webster does need more time on the court and i think he should be given a fair chance. But we really need a shooting guard here. We need someone who can knock down those mid to long range jumpers. Ridnour can at times. But other than a few good games earlier in the year, his game hasn't been the greatest as of late. I wish Williams would get a little more time out there. But if he's not playing good enough to warrant more time at this point, then so be it. But Kahn really needs to start looking around and try to work a trade for a good shooting guard. If we could bring in a good shooting guard... a 20+ point a night shooting guard, we could be looking at a decent seed in the playoffs. Without a good #2, we could be in, but a one and done...

I think jj is more mad about Rubio cuz when him and Rubio are on the floor he always takes it instead of Rubio. He also drives the net a lot and doesn't seem to be to patient with the ball. I think he is on a little bit of a slump before his injury he was shooting great.

This is NOT the team I've watched the past couple years. They ain't the 90's Bulls, but I'm actually looking at the schedule to see who they play and when. Somebody steps up every game. I may have to take those needles out of my Kahn voodoo doll.

Rubio's defense knocks me out, and Ridnour plays his heart out on defense. They both gave it their all, and then some. I don't know how either of these guys will have much left in the tank for Saturday's game against Houston. The game was fiercely competitive and a pleasure to watch. Could have gone either way; glad we got the win.

I don't know why everyone is so bent out of shape about Darko starting. Sweet let him start and keep his moral up. He played a total of 8 MINUTES tonight while Pek played 34. Johnson is struggling as much as i've seen a player struggle but we need him to get out of the slump he is in. If we want to go somewhere we need Wes to shoot better and keep driving to the hole. This slump could help him in the long run since he is learnign how to drive and there is no denying that he is alot more agressive and becoming a better player; when his shot comes around he could be a great player.
