There's a reason we live in a representative democracy rather than a pure democracy. In a pure democracy, everyone has a vote but it is entirely inefficient. Bills could take years to pass (or fail). We elect officials to represent us. They can't possibly represent all the people equally, but they represent the majority of voters in a particular election. Anyone who thinks otherwise, including Ms. Kowalski, can pack their bags and leave this fine country as they are bypassing the foundations set down in the U.S. Constitution.

Commish Rachel Leonard sized up the situation and didn't mince words. I love politicians who tell it like it is!

It would be interesting to know who made her aware about a state seal being absent from the document and asserted that it was required. I don't believe this woman is capable of fabricating the basis of the lawsuit but is only pursing it after it was concocted by others.

Sure, lets vote on everything now. Let the politicians collect a check without having to do anything.

Best example of most egregious misuse of political power due to no voter input. Duluth school board voted to NOT allow the citizens to vote on a $300mil facilities makeover. Found a loophole to do this. Stole the vote.
