Hann is on the wrong side of this. Even the MN Chamber of Commerce and the MN Business Partnership supports insurance exchanges and are part of Dayton's task force.

Stop the unconstitutional takeover of our health care system! Not only will the Supremes rule it unconstitutional, it will continue to be a lightning rod to elect wonderful Republican majorities throughout the nation. Obama has buried this nation under a mountain of reckless spending, regulation and debt. It is now time for change that we can believe in. Vote Republican in 2012 if you love our country.

Hann always seems to be working from the negative rather than the positive! I had some hope regarding this session but am convinced the GOP is being hijacked by extremists such as Hann.

cashncarey - Obama buried the nation under a mountain of debt - have you even been paying attention? 2 unfunded wars, tax cuts for the wealthy, prescription drug benefit that wasn't negotiated, much less paid for, economy was losing millions of jobs even before Obama was elected, no oversight and a license to socialize risk and privatize profits led to the mortgage crisis and Lehman collapse, not to mention the ponzi schemes in the financial hedge fund sector...nope, you must have missed those small details....

Funny, the Greedy Old Party was for insurance exchanges when it was pawlenty that wanted it. Now that it is part of health care reform, led by Democrats, they are against it.

I like how Bush's 2 unfunded wars are blamed on Obama, Bush's tax cuts became Obama's, Medicare prescription drug donut hole is now Obama's. Huh? Republicans devising their own insurance selling thing you know, they'll be asking for their own legislature, executive branch (including their own guv) and their own separate judicial system. It sounds like the crybabies want to take their toys and rush home to their mamas.

I wish the democrats would have used their majority power to implement their vision of how to eliminate the deficit, decrease out debt, and improve our economy, as opposed to focusing on healthcare while our country was on her knees.

..."The exchange would serve people without employer-sponsored coverage, small businesses with 50 to 100 employees, and people on Medicaid, MinnesotaCare and other state programs. Many would qualify for subsidies."... *********************************************** Would someone explain how this constitutes a government takeover of the nation's healthcare and of the insurance industry?

Look, folks, we just want to buy affordable health insurance. Your partisanship and desire for revenge on Obama is hurting ordinary Minnesotans.
