Sheesh...slow news day Pat? The Wolves not exciting enough for ya? Dragging out this old & tired axe of a extrememly small local story 15+ years ago to see if we can put a new grind on it? High Schools have open enrollment & somtimes kids choose to go to private schools. Get over it. What's next? An expose' about the fallout over kids that decide to go to Hill Murray instead of White Bear Lake? That story first broke in about 1970 so its probably time to drag that one out again too eh?

Private schools like HA that recruit need to compete in their own leagues and HS tournament, not with public schools!!!

Aside from the fact that your comment actually makes it sound like public schools have nothing to offer kids, do you actually believe private HSs recruit just like college teams do with offers of money or scholarships or any gifts? Or, I guess by "recruit" you mean actually bothering to talk to kids about the advantages of a private school education versus a public one...well, I can't argue with you there, and will retort with: Is your problem then that open enrollment exists...or is it that when given a choice, kids who's parents can afford it sometimes opt to get an education to go along with their sports?
