That's why their symbol is the elephant.

Inauspicious beginning. I fear Doug Peterson is correct: it's going to be unproductive and vicious.

The cuts solely to Senate Democrats is incredible -- DFL never did that to the Republicans in the Senate. Senjem is personally a good man, but he's held captive by a group of radical right-wing extremists who do not understand the word "fair" in a democracy or in social and community obligation to further the best interest of Minnesota. I fear for this state's future.

They're desperate to push their agenda via constitutional amendment as their majority will be short lived.

If they want to legislate by constitutional amendment, then fine. Let's fire them all since clearly they want a democracy instead of a democratic republic. It'll at LEAST be cheaper.

For all the years the DFL controlled the House and Senate, only one constitutential ammendment was proposed ant that was for the Legacy funds. Purely non-partisan. A benefit to ALL Minnesotans. In less that 2 years, the Republican controlled House and Senate now will propose 3 ammendments. All three will disenfranchise millions of Minnesotans. The right wing will stop at nothing to push their ieologigal, un-American, and hateful agenda.

Session’s warm start quickly turns chilly---- Once again in the coming months we get to listen to the blame game. " He said, she said" blah, blah, blah. BOTH parties need to grow up and do the job that they were elected to do. It gets really old listening to the same old tired banter coming out of St. Paul every January. Soulution; sit down like adults discuss the issues at hand like the professionals you are supposed to be. The whining and bickering every session gets really old!!!!!!!
