Instead of worrying about a site, why not let the people of Minnesota vote, isn't that what a democracy is????? Admit it,all you politicians are carefully sidesteping this because you know very well it will be voted down!they are moving NO where & even if they did, another team would move here faster than you can say Vikings, actually an expansion team would be an improvement. Lets get real!

Please get this thing built. Keep the Vikings in Minnesota. Politicians need to start working together to find solutions. Lesser cities in American have found a way to do this. Camden Yards in Baltimore was built with state lottery funds. Use electronic pull tabs. Don't like it, don't gamble.

Metrodome site is the worst possible option. Sign a one year lease and work out a deal in the burbs. Downtown is a horrible fan experience. Especially if you're from out-state.

Is it just me or do these politicians smell to high heaven of being corrupt? Arden Hill's is the best location and everyone know's it. Why Minneapolis is even being discussed is a complete joke!!

Metrodome costs much less. It's that simple.

"...legislators worried that combining a new Vikings stadium with financial relief for Target Center would be providing public subsidies to two wealthy team executives -- Wilf and Glen Taylor" ----- Doesn't everyone know this fact by now?! Get this issue done and over with by offering the DOME to WILF for a DOLLAR. Wilf will HAVE TO TAKE IT. This chess game has reached its end and the citizens of the State of Minnesota have Wilf checkmated! If our elected legislators do not realize that obvious fact, they are not worthy of being our representatives!

What evryone should be looking @ is 1) keeping the vikings here in minnesota & not making it impossible for them to stay. 2) reggie wayne is a free agent & peyton is going to be on the market..... this years 1st & 3rd, with a conditional 1st down to a 3rd next year depending on playing time & how we do next year. Hell you could fire the 1/2 of the coordinators on the offensive side , retain some old colts ones to transition the players.... hell out current LT is from that system, leslie is also familliar with the system........ hmmmmm......

Minneapolis says take the Target Center bailout as part of the package or forget the new stadium in Minneapolis? Ok.. works for me. Never liked blackmail or the Minneapolis sites anyway...

--"Metrodome costs much less. It's that simple".. To paraphrase an old saw -- The most expensive part is the one that doesn't satisfy the customer... Just because it is the cheapest doesn't mean it costs us the least.
