Wow could've seen this coming before this whole stadium talk started. Nothing like the state to drag their feet. Time for Zygi to call the states bluff and move them to LA. Don't settle for mediocrity Zygi!!!

I, too, am extremely frustrated that taxpayers haven't given me hundreds of millions of dollars to fatten my pockets. C'mon, taxpayer! You are so CHEAP!

If a stadium gets built in LA in the next 10 years, it will be for the San Diego Chargers. If they have a second team, it will be the Oakland Raiders. The Vikings aren't going anywhere. They will complain about things in the Metrodome that make them "worst in the NFL" in that particular category. So what? In EVERY category of revenue and stadium amenities, there is an NFL team that is "worst in the NFL."

Zygi Wilf, the 51% majority owner of the vikings who lives in New Jersey, has absolutely ZERO leverage and credibility when it comes to his ill-fated pipe dream of hoodwinking our lawmakers out of $600 plus million dollars of taxpayer welfare to build a new stadium that only he will profit from. I could care less how "frustrated" these extortionists are, they are NOT entitled to a dime of our Minnesota taxpayer money. They need to take a step back and realize how lucky they are to be doing business in our fine state!!! A state that allows them to make a tidy profit year after year which in turn they take back to New Jersey so I say it's time to cut these greedy New Jersey welfare seeking leaches off and get some majority local ownership back into the vikings so we can keep our tax dollars in Minnesota where they belong!!!

What a sham and a shame.... Everyone including those that answered a poll here on the strib site wanted it in Arden Hills. The paper has been slanting this all along. Why? because they own the property that the Metrodome is on. Without a stadium there, the land is worth alot less. And Dayton and the owners of the strib go back generations... In the mean time, while the dome is torn down the vikings lose out on how many thousand seats at the gopher's stadium? I hope the vikings say "forget you" and build in Arden Hills and recoup their cost through parking there instead.. There's dirty politics at work here....
